WHAT IS RESPONSIBLE GAMING?

Responsible Gaming is a concept that gaming-operators, suppliers, and service providers advocate to ensure their offerings uphold a fair and safe gaming experience that protects players from the adverse consequences of gaming and gambling.


HOW CAN RESPONSIBLE GAMING BE MEASURED?

Responsible Gaming happens when individuals play in a manner that is not disruptive and damaging to:

Their well-being

Their families, relatives, and friends

Other players and respondents

Gaming employees

And the broader community


WHAT IS PROBLEM GAMBLING?

It is an urge to continuously gamble despite the harmful negative consequences or a desire to stop.


SIGNS OF PROBLEM GAMBLING

Chasing losses

Losing interest in other things

Borrowing money from anyone

Always betting more in order to get the desired effect

Talking/thinking/planning about gambling

Stress

Getting into arguments about gambling

Having financial problem

Lying about gambling

Pursuant to Presidential Decree 1869 (PAGCOR Charter) as amended by Republic Act 9487 and Malacañang Memorandum Circular No.6 Series of 2016,

The following persons are not allowed to enter, stay and/or play:

Government officials connected directly with the operation of the Government or any of its agencies.

Members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, including the Army, Navy, Air Force or the Philippine National Police; and

Persons under 21 years of age or student at any school, college, or university in the Philippines.

Persons included in the National Database of Restricted Persons

Employees of Licensees (GEL Holders)

Playing in open and public places is strictly prohibited.


PLAYER EXCLUSION

This program is implemented to provide patrons who feel that relatives or they themselves are developing a problem with gambling with the option of barring them from all gaming venues or sites.


WHAT IS CASINO EXCLUSION

It is an act of prohibiting respondents from entering the gaming area/site to protect them from any adverse effects and consequences of gaming.

WHAT IS SELF-EXCLUSION

A request by a respondent to exclude himself from the gaming areas/sites for a period of time due to his gambling behaviors.


DURATION OF SELF EXCLUSION

6 months

1 year

5 years


REQUIREMENTS FOR SELF-EXCLUSION

Photocopy of one government issued ID with picture and signature

Fully Accomplished RG form 2

Latest 2x 2 picture


AMENDMENTS TO SELF-EXCLUSION

1st six months is irrevocable

Amendments after the first six months

Re-apply for exclusion by checking the re-application box (RG Form 2)


CONSEQUENCES OF EXCLUSION

Barred from all gaming areas/sites

Amendments after the first six months

Refusal of entry in all PAGCOR-operated and regulated gaming facilities regardless of where the application was filed


WHAT IS FAMILY EXCLUSION?

A request made by the parent/s, legal spouse or son/daughter of a player to prohibit the former (respondent) from entering the gaming areas/sited for a period of time due to his gambling behaviors.


DURATION OF FAMILY EXCLUSION

6 months

1 year

5 years


REQUIREMENTS FOR FAMILY EXCLUSION

IF PARENT IS THE APPLICANT:

A valid government issued ID with picture and signature (Applicant and the Respondent)

Fully accomplished RG form 3 (Applicant)

Birth Certificate (Respondent)

One 2x 2 of the Respondent taken within six months from the date of application for exclusion


IF CHILD IS THE APPLICANT:

Fully accomplished RG Form 3

A valid government issued ID with picture and signature (Applicant and Respondent)

Birth Certificate (Applicant)

One 2x 2 of the Respondent taken within six months from the date of application for exclusion

Note: At least 18 years old or represented by a legal guardian


IF SPOUSE IS THE APPLICANT:

Fully accomplished RG Form 3

A valid government issued ID with picture and signature (Applicant and Respondent)

Marriage Certificate (Applicant)

One 2x 2 of the Respondent taken within six months from the date of application for exclusion

Note: Incomplete requirements shall not be processed.

Submission of Application

Complete documentary requirements with a fully accomplished and signed application form and submit inside a sealed long-sized brown envelope with the following text written on it:

-Send the envelope to the above address either through:

(a)personal delivery,drop the envelopes inside the designated box located at the lobby of PAGCOR House or

(b)courier service


AMENDMENTS TO FAMILY EXCLUSION

Upon expiration, applicant may re-apply for exclusion (RG Form 3) by checking the re-application box.


CONSEQUENCES OF FAMILY EXCLUSION

Barred from all gaming areas/sites

Refusal of entry in all PAGCOR-operated and regulated gaming facilities regardless of where the application was filed


WHAT IS LICENSEE-EMANATING EXCLUSION

A licensees own accord to bar an employee from gaming premises (RG Form 4) due to:

Cheating

Theft

Forgery or counterfeiting

Fraud

Money Laundering
